Volf Accountancy International was founded by Shar Volf, CPA, MST, MSL, to serve clients who operate across borders, across regulators, and across risk categories. With more than 27 years of experience in taxation, accounting, and corporate governance, the firm integrates financial precision with legal insight to deliver clarity and control in complex regulatory environments.
Shar's career spans leadership positions with both West Coast and East Coast CPA firms and tax management in a San Francisco law firm, where she gained deep expertise in cross-border structuring, audit readiness, and compliance reporting.

Shar combines her CPA practice and advanced legal education - holding a Master of Studies in Law from Fordham University School of Law and pursuing an LLB(Hons) from the University of London, specializing in International Law. This dual perspective enables clients to bridge financial and legal frameworks seamlessly, ensuring every decision stands on solid ethical and regulatory ground.

With over 27 years of experience in accounting, taxation, and corporate governance, I founded Volf Accountancy International to deliver bespoke advisory for clients operating across U.S. and global jurisdictions. My background spans major FPA firms on both coasts and law-firm tax divisions in San Francisco's financial district, where I developed deep expertise in complex international compliance, reporting, and tax strategy.
I hold a B.S. in Accounting and an M.S in Taxation from Golden Gate University, and completed a Master of Studies in Law (Corporate Compliance) at Fordham University School of Law. I am currently pursuing an LLB (Hons) -focusing on International Law - an academic pathway that integrates legal, financial, and ethical frameworks for today's cross-border economy.
At Volf Accountancy International, my mission is to bridge law, finance, and ethics - helping organizations establish transparent, compliant, and resilient structures for global growth.
